These are the terms and conditions which govern the provision of the goods and/or service to you.
Who you contract with
You are not contracting with HotelMap, but instead contracting either directly with your chosen accommodation operator or, depending on the rate you have selected, the supplier of the accommodation booking service whose terms & conditions are referred to above as the Hotel Supplier Terms & Conditions
The point at which you contract
Completing your booking form and submitting it to us amounts to an offer to contract. Such offer is accepted and a binding contractual agreement is entered into between you and your chosen accommodation venue, when a booking confirmation number is issued and displayed to you, either on screen or in a communication sent to you. The act of issuing the booking confirmation number is contractual acceptance.
If you book online you will receive a booking confirmation number instantly online and by email.
If you book over the telephone, you will receive a booking confirmation number via your chosen means of communication.
When you pay
Unless otherwise stated at the time of making your booking, your credit card details will only be used to secure your booking and no monies will be deducted from your credit card at this stage.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of making your booking, you will pay your chosen accommodation venue in full when you check out and you may choose to settle your account with another credit card
Your obligations if you do not receive a booking confirmation number
If your chosen means of receiving a booking confirmation number is by email (you have no choice if you book online) and you do not receive a booking confirmation number within 12 hours after your online booking is completed, it is your responsibility to immediately contact us on customerservice@HotelMap.com or by telephone on + 44 (0)20 7292 2320
If your chosen means of receiving a booking confirmation number is via non-electronic means and you do not receive a booking confirmation number within 3 working days if you are in the UK or 14 working days if you are outside of the UK, it is your responsibility to immediately contact us on customerservice@HotelMap.com or by telephone on + 44 (0)20 7292 2320
You must check the information in our email or letter of confirmation
It is your responsibility to check that the information contained in our confirmation email or letter is correct and to immediately contact us on customerservice@HotelMap.com or by telephone on + 44 (0)20 7292 2320 if any of the details are not correct.
Your booking confirmation number is important!
You must take your booking confirmation number with you to your chosen accommodation venue. If you experience booking difficulties at any time, please contact the HotelMap Assistance Centre by email at customerservice@HotelMap.com or by telephone on + 44 (0)20 7292 2320.
Cancelling your booking
Should you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so online at https://www.HotelMap.com/Cancel or by telephoning the HotelMap Assistance Centre + 44 (0)20 7292 2320. You will need to have your booking confirmation number to hand.
Unless otherwise stated, you may cancel your booking for free (by phone or by using the https://www.HotelMap.com/Cancel facility.)
Specific cancellation terms may relate to your chosen accommodation venue. These will appear on the same web page as the online booking form, the confirmation page and your confirmation email, and, to the extent that they are inconsistent with what is written here, such specific terms shall prevail.
Failure to arrive at your chosen accommodation venue may be subject to a no-show fee, this may be equivalent to the cost of one night's stay (inclusive of any taxes). Your chosen accommodation venue will impose this fee and should be contacted directly to discuss.
Cancellations or no-show fees may be charged to your credit card without further notice to you by your chosen accommodation venue.
Our liability to you
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HotelMap Limited shall not be liable to you for any injury, loss (including but not limited to personal property), damage, delay, expense, inconvenience or otherwise suffered as a consequence of anything, howsoever caused, in connection with your chosen accommodation venue.
To the extent that HotelMap Limited is held liable, HotelMap Limited's liability shall not exceed the value of the goods and/or services contracted for.
